As much as we would like to say that the customer came to us to find out the truth, the actual fact is that the truth is not always well received. If the customer only wanted confirmation of his strongly held preconceptions, all your efforts have been wasted (unless, of course, the customer's preconceptions were correct - then you're the hero).
